Dependable Solutions, a technology management company, needed a postcard, a brochure, and website content developed for their November 1st Annual 2007 Midwest K-12 Administrators Technology Management Conference. Prior to hiring Young Copy, Dependable Solutions did not have any marketing materials or copy written.

Young Copy spent several hours on the phone and email to understand their exact needs and what they wanted to achieve with their new copy. Although this case study was written prior to the November conference, Young Copy wanted to show you an example of the brilliant copy. And once the conference has come and gone, this case study will be updated based on feedback from the Dependable Solutions team.

Postcard:

The postcard was written and designed specifically for the following audiences:

  • Administrators/Superintendents
  • Tech Coordinators/Managers
  • Principals
  • Business Managers

Six weeks prior to the conference, Dependable Solutions sent out their first wave of postcards to 203 people across 103 school districts.

Brochure:

Young Copy originally wrote the brochure copy for conference attendees. However, as a last minute decision, Dependable Solutions decided to wait until after the conference to finish the brochure. Once they receive feedback from conference attendees, Young Copy will develop a brochure that will help educate and convert prospects to clients.

Website Content:

Much of the copy written for the postcard and brochure could be used on the website. With a few modifications, copy was implemented to help educate visitors on Dependable Solutions services.

Results:

Dependable Solutions received a 5% response rate as a direct result of mailing four waves of the postcard.
